I know of one skating father who converted his garage into an off-ice training center for his figure skating daughter. It includes, among other things, a trampoline and his own home made harness hanging from the middle of the ceiling. I always wondered what would happen if the automatic garage door opener abruptly went off while his daughter was in the harness. Anybody walking by on the sidewalk would see a 9 year old girl hanging from the ceiling in a harness in some guys garage. I suspect he'd get a visit from his local S.W.A.T. team. back
