Abstract : This document describes the single site set-up of the first user trials and discusses the implications of the planned extension to a three site, trans-national set-up. The focus is on pedagogical opportunities of trans-national collaborative language learning and the necessary system requirements. Cultural and administrative differences between the sites are considered together with the impact of technical constraints on the pedagogical arrangements.
