de un ciberataque permitiendo atacar infraestructuras críticas.
Supervisory Control
and Data Acquisition (SCADA) refers to the systems and networks that
communicate with industrial control systems to provide data to operators for
supervisory purposes, as well as control capabilities for process management.

Networks or systems
generally used for industrial controls or to manage infrastructure such as
pipelines and power systems. [CNSSI_4009:2010]
SCADA stands for
"supervisory control and data acquisition" and in the cybersecurity
context usually refers to industrial control systems that control
infrastructure such as electrical power transmission and distribution, water
treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, oil and gas
pipelines and large communication systems. The focus is on whether as these
systems are connected to the public Internet they become vulnerable to a remote
attack.
