HI-PARTES

The main aim of this project is to contribute to the improvement of methods and technology for the development and execution of high-integrity embedded systems, which currently show an evolution characterized by a continuous increase in complexity. System virtualization is a key technology for this purpose. Virtualization allows for sharing physical resources between a number of logical virtual machines or partitions. On each virtual machine runs a set of applications on top of an operating system. The time and spatial isolation of the partitions allows for enhanced security, reducing unexpected interactions between applications, coexisting applications with different criticality level on the same processor, and integrating seamlessly legacy applications.
